Books I’ve read in 2012 - Paper Towns by John Green
Gosh. Paper Towns was amazing, and I’m a little disappointed in myself for taking so long to actually read it. But really, it’s an amazing book. It’s one of those books that really feels as though you’re a part of the action. When Q feels he’s on the right track, you get excited with him, and when they’re running out of time, you feel that panic and that adrenaline, and, well, if I describe the other ‘in book experience’ I had, I feel it’d give too much away. So really, I urge everyone who hasn’t already to read this book.
John Green is a seriously amazing writer. He just has this way with words that seems so simple, and yet has so much depth and beauty. It’s incredible. I don’t think I’ve come across another author who uses language quite like him.
